Two of five examples: a seed-round pitch deck and a quarterly sales review

In short

Good presentations and documents look different and still follow the same rules: one statement per page, numbers instead of adjectives and a clear ask or decision at the end. Here are five examples for typical occasions, from a seed-round pitch deck to a one-page CV. They are designed by hand for fictional companies and show what structure, charts and imagery can do. What Slaide builds from your content looks different, because it fits your figures and goals.

The five examples

Each one is a finished document or deck. Open it, page through it and read what makes it work.

All companies, people and figures are made up. The examples are designed by hand, not generated by Slaide. The prompt next to each example is a starting point for your own document, not a recipe for exactly this image.

Pitch deck example

Voltaro, seed round

When investors decide within ten minutes whether they want a second meeting.

  • The problem slide has one sentence: a quarter hour decides the power bill for the year.
  • Traction is a bar per quarter, and the market is TAM, SAM and SOM as three circles.
  • The last number is the ask: a €2.5M seed with use of funds and milestones.

Presentation example

Q3 sales review for the management board

When a management board should see the numbers and make decisions in 30 minutes.

  • The agenda names the time for each item and the goal of the meeting.
  • A bridge chart explains how revenue moved from 11.85 to 12.84 million euros.
  • Lost deals appear with reason and consequence in a table, and the end holds three approvals with budget.

Create a presentation for management with last quarter's sales review: agenda, KPIs against the previous quarter and plan, revenue bridge, strongest products, lost deals with reason, plan for next quarter and decisions. My figures:

Report example

Q3 quarterly report to the advisory board

When a board wants to read the numbers and prepare a decision.

  • The summary comes first: a KPI table with plan and prior year, four key messages and the decision needed.
  • Revenue appears as a bar chart against plan and prior year.
  • The end holds a forecast, three recommendations and a risk table.
View prompt

Create a quarterly report for the advisory board as a document: summary with KPI table, revenue and customers with a chart, projects and people, outlook with recommendations and risks. As an A4 document. My company and my figures:

One-pager example

product sheet, company profile and investor one-pager

When everything important has to fit on one page: for customers, as a company profile or for investors.

  • Three types on three pages: a product sheet, a company profile and an investor one-pager.
  • The headline of the product sheet names the result: no more lost workdays at your firm.
  • The investor one-pager bundles KPIs, traction, market, team and the seed round.

CV example

senior product marketing manager, resume and cover letter

When you apply for a senior role and the first read decides whether anyone reads on.

  • The resume leads with key results before the three roles, each with quantified achievements.
  • Skills, education and languages sit in short blocks at the bottom, so the page stays calm.
  • The cover letter adds date, recipient, key facts at a glance and a signature in the same design.

What these examples have in common

Three techniques that come back in almost every example, with proof from the pages.

  1. Numbers instead of adjectives

The sales review explains the jump from €11.85M to €12.84M with a bridge chart. The pitch deck builds up to a €2.5M seed round with use of funds and milestones. The CV states quantified achievements for every role, and the investor one-pager names a 1.6 million euro seed round.

  2. One chart supports one statement

The sales review has a bridge chart for revenue, the pitch deck a bar chart of recurring revenue per quarter, the report a bar chart of monthly revenue against plan and prior year. What supports no statement stays out.

  3. The ending asks for something

The sales review closes with three approvals with budget and the next steps with dates. The report ends on three recommendations to the board and a risk table. The product sheet offers a free IT check, and the pitch deck builds up to its funding ask.

Frequently asked questions about presentation examples

Anything missing? Ask us

What belongs in a good presentation?

One clear message, proof for it and a next step. In these examples that means the starting position in numbers, the proposal, proof such as a chart or a table, and an ask or a decision at the end. Every page carries one statement that already stands in its headline.

How many slides should a presentation have?

As many as your message needs. The two presentations in this collection have eight and ten slides, the documents two to five pages. More important than the count is that every slide says something of its own.

Can I download these examples as templates?

The examples themselves are images, not files. With Slaide you describe your own project or upload material, and it builds an editable PowerPoint, Word or PDF document from it.

Were the examples made with Slaide?

No. They are designed by hand for fictional companies with sample figures, so you can see what a good structure looks like. What Slaide builds from your content looks different: it comes from your figures and goals, and you adjust every page.

How do I create something similar with Slaide?

Describe your project in a few sentences or upload material such as notes, a spreadsheet or an old presentation. Next to each example there is a prompt as a starting point, and you add your details at the end. Slaide plans the pages and builds them, you adjust text, figures and images and export as PowerPoint, PDF or Word.

What does it cost?

Free: you create one document. Slaide plans every page and builds the first 3 of them, with Slaide branding on the export. Plus costs €7.99 a month for documents up to 12 pages, Pro €17.99 a month with no page limit. Both can be cancelled at any time.

Your content becomes your document

Describe what you need and add your files. The free plan builds the first 3 pages of one document, no credit card.
